Stark Coaching

We took a close look at how visitors experience starkcoaching.com today, and explored what a conversion-focused redesign could look like for your coaching practice.

Hi Heather,

I came across your work after seeing the "Women Creating Impact" event, and what stood out immediately was the depth of experience you bring. A Harvard MBA, 25+ years in corporate leadership, ICF certification, and the real-world credibility of having worked with Fortune 500 companies on change management. That is a rare combination in the coaching space.

The challenge is that your website does not quite communicate the calibre of what you offer. The credentials are there, but visitors have to dig to find them. The testimonials are strong but anonymous, the CTAs are generic, and the "Energy Sandwich" framework you have developed is buried in a blog post rather than woven into your main page story.

I put together a redesign concept and a visitor experience analysis to show what is possible. This is not a sales pitch. It is a free look at your site through fresh eyes, with ideas you can use whether or not we ever work together.

From Fortune 500 Boardrooms to Your Corner Office

Before founding Stark Coaching, Heather spent over two decades in corporate leadership and change management consulting, working with some of the world's largest organizations. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and brings the rigour of that training to every coaching relationship.

Her approach is built on a simple belief: the best leaders aren't born with some special gift. They've just been willing to do the uncomfortable work of growing. That's exactly where Heather meets you.

As an ICF member and certified professional coach, she combines evidence-based coaching methods with the real-world business experience that comes from navigating corporate complexity firsthand.

Common Questions

What You're Probably Wondering

Honest answers to the questions most leaders ask before starting coaching.

What does a typical coaching engagement look like?

Most engagements start with a discovery conversation where we identify your specific goals and challenges. From there, we meet regularly (typically bi-weekly or monthly) for focused coaching sessions. Each session is a working conversation, not a lecture. You'll leave with clear actions you can apply immediately. Engagements typically run 6 to 12 months, depending on your goals.

How is this different from consulting or mentoring?

A consultant tells you what to do. A mentor shares their experience. A coach helps you find your own answers, then holds you accountable to acting on them. Heather's approach is collaborative, not prescriptive. She brings deep business experience and asks the right questions to help you see what you already know but haven't articulated yet.

I'm already a successful leader. Do I really need coaching?

The most successful leaders are the ones who invest in their own growth. Coaching isn't about fixing something broken. It's about getting to the next level when you've already done well. Think of it the way elite athletes use coaches: not because they can't compete, but because a trusted outside perspective helps them perform at their peak.

What if I'm not sure coaching is right for me?

That's exactly what the free discovery call is for. There's no commitment, no pressure. We'll have an honest conversation about where you are and whether coaching makes sense for your situation. If it's not the right fit, Heather will tell you that directly.

Do you work with teams, or only individuals?

Both. Heather offers one-on-one executive coaching and organizational development services including culture development, strategic planning, leadership workshops, and 360 assessments. Many clients start with individual coaching and then bring Heather in to work with their broader leadership team.

Where Your Website Shines, and Where It Could Grow

Stark Coaching has impressive credentials, genuine thought leadership with the "Energy Sandwich" framework, and a clear track record with senior leaders. These are simply areas where the website could surface that quality more prominently for visitors who are deciding whether to book.

No FAQ, no process explanation, no risk reversal anywhere on the site

Prospects considering executive coaching often wonder about the process, the time commitment, what a first session looks like, and whether this is right for their specific situation. The site does not address any of these questions. A short FAQ section and a clear "how it works" process would remove the uncertainty that keeps qualified prospects from taking the next step.

Copy describes services rather than outcomes visitors care about

Headlines like "Executive Coaching + Organizational Development" tell visitors what Heather does, but not why they should care. Prospects are looking for transformation: clarity in leadership, confidence in decision-making, a team that respects their direction. Reframing the copy around outcomes rather than service descriptions would connect with visitors at the moment they are deciding.

Generic CTAs that do not tell visitors what happens next

"Book Now!" and "I CAN HELP" are vague. They do not explain what the next step actually involves, how long it takes, or what visitors will get from it. Changing to "Book My Free Discovery Call" with a note about the 30-minute, no-commitment format would make the action feel safe and specific, which is what hesitant prospects need.

This preview is yours to keep
